Summary0001323: some transparant models are black
DescriptionSome of the models and nebulas are black at places where they must be transparent.
Additional InformationWhen you fly in nebula you have some diffrent layers that aren't transparent which moving in your direction. This layers are red, blue and green (probably the layers of the nebula in transparent).

This just sounds like he's missing the mp-710 patches.

I've installed the mp-710 patches (mp-710_adveffects.vp; mp-710_effects.vp; mp-710_models.vp).

Try using ONLY the 3.6.8 ZETA mediavps, the last time someone reported this problem in the forum he still used the 3.6.7 mediavps (the patches) alongside with the 3.6.8 mediavps.

It really just looks like the mp-710 patches aren't being used, since that screenshot points out one of the things the patches fix. Run a debug build and attach ~/Library/FS2_Open/data/fs2_open.log. That should give us a better clue as to what's going on.

1st. As Joshua has said, swear that you are using mediavps 3.6.8. zeta (redownload if you are not sure). I say this because I think I remember mv_amodelspatch.vp and mv_amodeltspatch2.vp as additions to previous releases...

2nd. If the previous answer is yes, try deleting/moving this two vps and mv_befix.vp from your media vp folder because they are not official vps. (OTOH what are they?)
