Revision 10147 but I know it has been happening at least several revisions earlier

The_Force, can you check whether this has been fixed in a recent build? It might be a duplicate of a previously-reported bug.

Its still an issue, I ran into this problem today. Though it takes the texture replacement fine for one ship, but doing it on a second ship will crash FRED.

Yeah, I just tested on revision 10869 and I couldn't even click OK to texture replace a single texture on one ship without a CTD.
