Summary0002898: -img2dds forced on, causing texture corruption in strange cases
DescriptionAs of r8267 -img2dds is forced on. This causes texture corruption with retail data under my somewhat odd setup (Mobility FireGL V5250 with the open-source r300g driver under Linux), and is apparently suboptimal otherwise.

I think you meant r8627; that's the commit that removed the -img2dds flag.

I was under the impression it was suboptimal to use this as well, which is why I wondered why we forced it on, instead of disabling it of all other possible options. I will try to follow up with some devs before 3.7.0 final.
