Summary0002709: Mainhall Animations Corrupted, occasional CTD after some arbitary duration
DescriptionThis definitely happens in RC8, and may happen in some trunk builds after RC7.

Mainhall animations initially load up normal, but when they are activated they become highly corrupted (see photo).

Additionally, after some time putzing about the mainhall, FSO will lockup and CTD, if lucky.

Similarly, if returning from the mission, FSO will also lockup.
Steps To ReproduceLoad FSO normally.
Additional InformationThis may be specific to OpenGL 1.4 chipsets and/or integrated graphics, as I have not come across any other complaints such as this.

Sometimes, manually nuking the pilot files and starting fresh resolves this issue for a little while.

 Should also mention that the animation corruption is not limited to just the mainhall. Pre-mission ship selection and weapon load-out screens also have the corruption, and also CTD.

May be directly related to Valathil's fix for issue 0002417. (trunk rev 9109)
