| Description | When you use set-object-position on a waypoint, it definitely does change the position of the waypoint (I've tested this). However, it seems to have no effect on ships using that waypoint, even those who don't get the waypoints order until after the change is made. | ||||

This is because the waypoint is different from the internal ship path. Changing a waypoint's position is mainly useful for distance measurement, not for the ai-waypoints goal. However, I would think that a goal assigned after the waypoint move should be built with the new waypoint position. Can you attach a mission? |

Mission added. The mission starts with a cruiser with no orders, and a waypoint in front of it. Three seconds into the mission, a SEXP relocates the waypoint behind the cruiser. Five seconds in, the cruiser gets the order to move to the waypoint. It moves forward. |
