|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0002096: Setting departure cue to docking bay causes ships in wings to have invalid departure target|
|Description||If you select a group of ships that include ships in wings and set the departure cue to a docking bay you receive the following:|
"Ship <shipname> requires a valid departure target"
for every ship that was selected that is in a wing. You may also receive an <error> referenced by ship doesn't exist message after all the warnings but not always. As ships in wings departures cannot be edited individually there is no way to set them back without again selecting multiple ships.
|Additional Information||3.6.11 r5828|
Steps to reproduce: Place any cap with a docking bay in FRED. Add some fighters and make some a wing. Select them all and open the ship editor. Set the departure to docking bay. Hit next then close the ship editor. Either save the mission or just hit error checker.
|Tags||No tags attached.|
Some additional info. The <error> ship part occurs on mission save as it saves the departure location as docking bay but does not apply the ship name so <error> is written to every ship that is in a wings anchor. Excerpt from saved mission.
$Departure Location: Docking Bay
$Departure Anchor: <error>
