Summary0001879: Freespace refuses to recognize my joystick.
DescriptionI own and use a Saitek X52 flight control system, which is a joystick/throttle combo. The joystick, according to all diagnostics, is working fine. The game is, as far as I can tell, working fine. But when I get in mission, the game will not respond to the controls. It takes keyboard commands just fine, but will not respond to the joystick, throttle, or any of the buttons on either one.

Curiously, it will respond to the mouse emulator function of the joystick when not in a mission. The problem seems restricted to in-game flight.

Issue resolved. For some reason, the launcher was set to not select a joystick.
