Summary0001650: Autopilot keys are "randomly" assigned to Viewing functions
DescriptionSometimes, (I don't know exactly when), autopilot keys (Alt-A, Alt-N) are unassigned from their default values to "Top-Down View" and "Target Padlock View". (See attached screenshot).

Sorry but I haven't found the trigger... :(
Additional InformationI can assure that this has happened in the past to several people because in the Blue Planet mod there's a mission in which you have to press Alt-A to finish it.

Some people, (including myself: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,49876.msg1009950.html#msg1009950), complained that they couldn't finish it pressing Alt-A. And as you can imagine the problem was that Alt-A (autopilot) had changed to None as you can see in the screenshot.

Testing 0001520, much time after and with another pilot, I've suffered the issue again.

This sort of thing will happen if you switch between HEAD builds and stable builds and use the same pilot. Regular players shouldn't be doing that.

If you are running across this bug and have NOT been switching builds... well yeah we need more information how you did it ;-)

I swear that I've never ever used HEAD builds.

I've only switched between CVS stable/SVN trunk, official 3.6.9. or Taylor's Xt builds.

I'll try to replicate it...

Has there been any news regarding this bug? Have you been able to do it again? Or was it a bug at all?

I can't play much lately. :(

Nevertheless I'll leave the bug open as a reminder in case someone suffers it and can post the triggering steps. As I said I think this bug has been suffered by other people too because of the BP mod issue.
