DescriptionThe ingame joining as far as I know does not work. The player will join and go into the pre-briefing stage right after loading and stay there, being able to talk to them, but it doesnt actually let you start playing.

Server-side spew:

in game joining shouldn't be enabled..... what's the status of this bug report

Status Update pls, second request, ticket will be invalidated in 48 hours if no response is received.


Shade (developer)

Tested this today on 3.6.10, and it causes a CTD for the client before getting to the ship selection screen - The host sees the client join and then leave because of the crash, but is otherwise unaffected. All logs and error messages in the zip I'm uploading.

In-game joining was enabled in the launcher for both the host and the client, and both were running a recent 3.6.10 Xt build.
