Summary0001086: Assertion failed on standalone.
DescriptionI have seen several assertion failed messages when running a standalone. Didn't report the other ones because of my unusual setup but todays happened on a standard setup. 2 players where on my standalone when file xfer began. Either during or right after the error happend.
Additional InformationReport was one person had finished transfer and the other was just starting when the error occured. Not sure if it has changed but all transfres used to take place at the same time. I have also seen assertion failed errors right after mission load when playing across my lan. Can't confirm if its the same error at this time.

Yep. I was one of those clients:

1. I was the 1st to connect to Fubar's standalone, so I was the host.
2. I selected "Lone_M01.fs2" as our mission.
3. 1 other player joined.
4. Hit the green light to begin briefing
5. Both I and 2nd player were given the mission file xfer screen
6. I slowly got up to 100%, and had a status of something to the like of "sending campaign ack"
7. Game stuck for 10 seconds.
8. "Contact with server has been lost" (or a similar message) was displayed.

Might want to just combine this with 1046. Appears to be the same bug.

Actually, it's a different error than 1046. However, I just reported bug 0001100 - which does have the same assert error as within the dump.txt file you attached within your rar file. In addition, the last two lines of your attached multi.log file looked like the last two lines in my multi.log file in 0001100:
...
10/04 22:25:15~ Sending LOAD_MISSION_NOW
10/04 22:25:15~ Sending NETPLAYER_UPDATE
--EOF--

Actually, you're right... sort of. The .rar files that you attached onto 0001046 do have the same assert error. However, the original assert error that I posted on 0001046 was different.

This should be the same thing as 0001100. Closing this one as a duplicate though since 0001100 is more detailed as to the exact problem (which should be fixed in the next build anyway).

Closered.
