| Description | Ok, this is hard to describe so here's a screenshot. Basically, I'm using a set of thruster effects that I think were made before the set in the current mediavps. I tried them out because I like variety. However, there's a strange line artifact at the end of each trail. |

| Additional Information | I did some testing and discovered why the mediavp effects do not do this: it is because the very first pixel column in the file is black. Sure enough, if I padd the left side of this thruster with black, the problem goes away. [However if I convert it to DXT1 the problem comes back, but I'm guessing that is encoding-related]. This suggests that perhaps the thruster is not being displayed correctly, one pixel 'looping' or something?
I attach the 'broken' thruster and the 'fixed' thruster for testing if needed. |
