| Summary | 0000818: -img2dds removes textures in OpenGL | ||||
| Description | -img2dds appears to remove textures in OpenGL mode, regardless of whether -jpgtga is on or off or the mediaVPs are installed. There are some oddities - for example, it seems to make certain portions of a texture disappear, possibility indicating some kind of shinemap corruption? This seems to happen since the introduction of the command line option itself. Note that I did run into some odd user breakpoints in the Windows 2000 DLLs near cf_find_file_location returning, when I tried to debug this myself. | ||||
| Additional Information | Command line: D:\Freespace2\fs2_open_r-P4.exe -spec -glow -mipmap -nomotiondebris -img2dds -dualscanlines -targetinfo -orbradar -rearm_timer -ballistic_gauge -ship_choice_3d -3dwarp -warp_flash -snd_preload -mpnoreturn -nomovies -allslev 3.6.8-Delta+ MediaVPs | ||||

It's some issue with glowmaps as far as I can tell. I've thought it was some sort of texture state issue though I haven't found a way to get it 100% under Windows for some reason. It still works perfectly under Linux and with the byte-order set correctly it works perfectly under OS X too. But either way this is a duplicate of 0000688. |
