| Description | When my mouse goes over the buttons in options etc I see blue outlines of the buttons. Also, if I roll over the barracks door and the ready room, the door and the stuff around it shifts position a little when it opens. | ||||
| Additional Information | I got and installed the HOTU version of Freespace two, then downloaded the FS_open laauncher and EXE. I then extracted the Zpack of enhanced VPS and just ran the extractor to the FS2 directory. I also put the "devil dlls" into the main directory, and checked all the flags the launcher had available. | ||||

Are you using Anti Aliasing? If so, turn it off and see if the problem persists |

I've heard that the -pcx32 flag can sometimes cause this. I also know from experience that the -pcx2dds flag can result in the blue outline problem. |

Selecting "Fix font disortion problem" on the Video tab in the launcher should fix the shifting problem. I really think that AA just needs to be forcibly disabled on the interface screens since it's causing numerous problems (icon offsets, slow font redraws, mask issues with mouse clicks). I think it only useful, visually, in-game anyway. In any case this is really just a duplicate of bug 0000008. |
