| Description | While it is working in 3.6.9 RC4, I encountered a (reproducable) crash when using the change ship-class SEXP. I tried ou the cloaking stuff explained in this thread : http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,40783.0.html Strange thing is : I can cloak the fighter without problem. But de-cloaking it causes the CTD, though it is using the same SEXP. System:Specs : Pentium 3,1 GHZ, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9800 pro, playing uder D3D8 with 1024x768 x 2AA Flags used : -spec -glow -jpgtga -2d_poof -ship_choice_3d -wcsaga -snd_preload -fps -ambient_factor 120 -wcsaga | ||||

Since there are more SEXP involved I made a few more tests. However, after resaving the missionfile, the crash isn't happening anymore. So most probably that was just a problem with the missionfile being saved between different builds. I tried it a few times, and everything works as it should, no crash. So I guess you can close this bug. Sorry for the false alarm :) |

Do you still have the version which did cause crashes? |

Do you know which cvs build is affected? |

Not sure I have the faulty mission file. It was in the CVS build from 07/07, maybe the mission in the original thread has the same problem. Technically I used this mission the first time and changed the ships in it, but not the SEXP |

Sorry, I can't reproduce it anymore. Obviously this was just a trouble of swapping exe's and fredbuilds around. Sometimes this happens. |

In that case we might as well close this for now. If it does ever resurface I don't mind taking a look at it. |
