| Additional Information | I recently updated to Catalyst 6.5, and am getting this error message under both Direct3D, and OpenGL. I have tried several CVS builds, in addition to the 3.6.9 RC 1 build. | ||||

My apologies on filing this under the Launcher category. Which category should I have used? I am getting this error message, even when I have no mod selected, and all new graphics features turned off. I have ShivanSPS' torrent package. I am considering removing the old files, and reinstalling the game. |

When in doubt, leave it uncategorized. :) Guessing wrong is worse than not guessing. (If you want to know, it's a game data bug, and has nothing to do with the launcher or graphics.) Which version of ShivanSPS's torrent are you using? He released several. |

I am using the version 1.6 build of ShivanSPS' torrent. BTW, I just ran the debug version of the 3.6.9 RC1 execuatble. The error message it generates is as follows: Error: icons.tbl(line 16: Error: Missing required token: [#Start]. Found [:] instead. Are there any files in data/tables/? |

* BUMP * Was it a file sitting in data/tables? This doesn't appear to be a code issue, just an install issue, so please give us an update. This will be considered Not-a-Bug otherwise. |

My problem was caused by one or more tables, in my data folder. When I deleted these tables (and installing 3.6.9 RC 2), I was able to restart Freespace 2 as before. I have tested this under the FS 2 campaign, and the Derelict mod. |
