| Description | fs2-scp is crashing on my intel iMac on various missions, notably Exodus and Dunkerque. The enclosed crash log points to a OpenAL problem. This happens with both the 3.6.7 and the 3.6.8 Delta .vp files and both in the 20060326 and the 20060427 builds. | ||||

On the off-chance that this is a buffer deletion issue, I'll say that this should be fixed in the next build. If you can play those missions fine with the -nomusic cmdline option then that is likely the cause of the crash. If not then it's unrelated. If that does fix it then I'll rush out a new build and you can double-check that it's actually fixed. |

Thanks taylor. I've tried the new build -- and so far it seems to have cured the problem. No more crashes. Didn't have time to try out a whole lot of options and missions so far. I'll keep you posted. Good work though! |

Good to hear. I'll resolve this as fixed in a couple of days unless you (or anyone else) reports additional problems with it. |
