| Summary | 0000903: Cutscenes dont work in OpenGL fullscreen | ||||
| Description | As title says, full screen OpenGL breaks movies for me. I have to use windowed mode in order to view them, which unfortunately hampers my combat performance. I am seeing no video, and unlike windowed mode which the vid opens immediately, I hear five or six seconds of silence in fullscreen before the cutscene's sound plays. Sometimes the video doesnt play at all. I have tested in D3D8, and no problems are occurring there... But who wants D3D8? Not me. Anyway, my nV drivers are 84.25 x64. The problem started when I was dicking around with the -fov and -spec_* options, but even after removing all the flags, the movies still wont play. Here is my commandline: C:\games\FreeSpace2\20060421-fs2_open_r.exe -mod mediavps -spec -glow -jpgtga -mipmap -nomotiondebris -2d_poof -missile_lighting -dualscanlines -3dwarp -warp_flash -snd_preload -window -fov 0.5 -spec_exp 11 -spec_point 0.9 -spec_static 0.8 -spec_tube 0.7 -ambient_factor 30 | ||||
