| Summary | 0000847: Linux: Mouse2 fires missiles and main guns. | ||||
| Description | When using the mouse as the controller, Mouse1 functions normally, but Mouse2 is interpreted as both Mouse 1 & 2 simultaneously. To clarify, pressing Mouse1 fires the main guns, while pressing Mouse2 fires main guns and missiles at the same time. Mouse2 can also be used to select items in the menu system. I don't know if this is intended functionality. This problem does not occur in any other application that I'm aware of, so I'm assuming it's a problem in fs2_open. | ||||

Woops! Forgot to mention - sc2_open compiled from CVS (3/2/2006 0000007:0000002:00pm PST) I've had the same issue with all versions I've compiled thus far, including the current icculus cvs. |

It's a basic design problem with the input code, something that's getting fixed in the upcoming code. Basically mouse and joystick inputs use the same config information. To fix the mouse freakyness you will have to unbind any joystick HAT controls in the controlconfig screen. That should take care of the mouse button issues. |

Closing as Not-A-Bug as this behavior is retail's. But it's getting fixed anyway. Closered. |
