| Summary | 0000737: Crashes and Weirdness With Cutscenes SEXPs | ||||
| Description | In the 18/01/2006 or 16/01/2006 builds of FRED any attempt to use the cutscene SEXPs results in errors (Five new ships appear on the popup list with names that are ASCII characters and the default ship is never alpha 1 but <any traitor> instead. Running a debug build resulted in this assertion popping up as soon as I added the SEXP Assert: strlen(text) < max_length File: c:\fred2_open\sexp_tree.cpp Line: 1123 It appeared for get-object-relative-x, get-object-x, set-camera-facing-object. These problems are not present in the 9/1/2006 CVS builds | ||||

Cutscene sexp bug, assign to WMC |
|
|
This may have something to do with the ship/wing/point data type rather than the cutscene sexps. What happens if you try to use the distance sexp? |

Goober resolved this one a little while back so I'm closing it. |
