Playing which mission(s)? |
|

The bug about "8. Cover me" command also happens to me. It doesn't matter which mission. I was playing Lightnin Marshall 3 MOD when I noticed it, and I thought it was mission scripted. But at least with FS2 main campaign it is exactly the same. In my game, "8. Cover me" appears dark as an unselectable command. OTOH you can't order support ship anything cos it doesn`t appear in available ship list. It happens to me with 2006-01-06 build and last 3.6.8. beta vp files. With 3.6.7 vp files (with the 3 patches) and 2005-12-08 build, these features work allright. |

I've installed media files, but still can't order cover me. Also no support ship in ships list. |
|
|
Problem persists with all versions of media vp and without these packs too |

Just checked fred lates built: hey, there's no Cover Me order in player orders menu! |

I have performed more tests and it seems this bug IS mission-dependent at least in the "8. Cover me" part. In "A Lion at the Door" (SM1-04.FS2) I do have "8. Cover me" command available but it doesn't work in "The Sixth Wonder" (SM1-08.FS2) But "Support 1" (The support ship) is missing in both missions in the commandable ship list. Of course, with 3.6.7. vp's and 2005-12-08 build all these issues are not present. I'm running FSOpen on WXP Pro SP2 in OGL. My command line is "C:\FreeSpace2\fs2_open_r-P420051208.exe -glow -jpgtga -nomotiondebris -noscalevid -cache_bitmaps -dualscanlines -targetinfo -rearm_timer -ballistic_gauge -ship_choice_3d -3dwarp -warp_flash -snd_preload -fps -ambient_factor 75 -spec_static 0.6 -spec". (Changing the .exe between versions) Can anyone confirm this? |

Did you actually want this WMC? I've already got a fix in the works and didn't notice that you had assigned it to yourself. |

Should be fixed in next build, reopen if it's not. |
