Summary0000608: Problem with more than four ships in a loadout wing
DescriptionIt seems Phreak's modification to allow up to 6 ships in Alpha, Beta, and Gamma is broken. I put six ships in Alpha, but fs2 only shows me four in the loadout screen. If Beta wing exists, having six in Alpha also starts messing with Beta in odd ways. (It's like Alpha 5 and 6 spill over into Beta and a conflict starts about which ships are really present in Beta's slots).

Also, if I die and use the quick restart option, when the mission reloads Beta will actually spawn using the strange configuration from the loadout screen (it didn't the first time around).

I wonder whether Beta would have done so the first time I flew the mission if I had tried to change beta's loadout.

If you have the artwork still, we could fit that into the Media VP core if it is not already in there.

I think the artwork is included in a build i posted in the recent builds forum some time ago. I can't find the link since the forums are down.

In that case I think we can consider this is resolved. ASAP I will make this availiable. The artwork will go into the Media VP 3.6.8 or 3.6.7 Patch 3 if there is a patch.

I don't think so.

Are you sure you don't have it backed up someplace? Even old, out-of-date source would make it much much easier to re-implement.

Closed, as feature requests aren't bugs, plus I don't know if this will be fixed without redesigning the ship/weapon loadout screen.
