| Summary | 0000570: Briefingicons are displayed wrong in 1280x1024 | ||||
| Description | Like the headlines says, in 1280x1024 the briefingicons are still a little wrong positioned (moved towards the buttom). Since everything eles 1280x1024 has been fixed, I hope that you can cure that one too :) Here are some pictures for better explanation http://web396.xps1.microserver.de/wcsaga/Starman/pics/briefing01.jpg http://web396.xps1.microserver.de/wcsaga/Starman/pics/briefing02.jpg | ||||

My briefing icons are also still messed up in the 10/02 build. Most of them are outside the viewable area altogether. I didn't know anyone has tried to fix this, actually. |

What build are you using? Attaching a screenshot at 1280x1024 with 3.6.7. I had already fixed the briefing problem months ago I thought. It still works fine for me too so I know it hasn't broken in the meantime. Perhaps there is some reason that it wouldn't work under D3D (don't know why) and does under OGL (if you aren't testing with that) but there shouldn't be any difference since the fix I made would affect both or neither. |

I tested it again. I'm using the released "fs2_open_367_p4.exe", but the error occurs only in Direct3D8. OGL works fine, though I normally don't use that due to minor problems. |

Same situation here; it seems to be an issue with D3D only, which I prefer for the environmental mapping feature. In the screenshot I put up, the cruiser wing icon that shows up is actually supposed to go with the "6th fleet" text while the other icons aren't visible at all. |

Yep, I did miss something with the non-standard resolution fixes. Updated code will hit CVS shortly and it appears to fix the problem in the resolutions that I tested. If it doesn't match OpenGL in the same resolution this please reopen. Fixered. |
