Summary0000562: Player is always killed by 'unknown causes'
DescriptionFor quite a few builds the death message has always been 'x was killed by unknown causes' instead of 'by x' or 'by a beam from x' or 'by his own missile shockwaves'... whatever.
Additional InformationUntested in regular FS2 as I only use Inferno these days - however I thought it's unlikely to be a mod-specific problem, more game logic.

Works fine for me in regular FS2. I don't really see how it would be a mod specific problem either but I'll give Inferno a try at some point this weekend and see if I can figure out what's going on.

The problem is in the newer builds only - I went back to fs2_open_G-20050728.exe and it behaves normally. I also managed to test this out on a regular install of FS2 and my Inferno build behaves abnormally there, too. AFAIK nothing was changed for those builds except for the preprocessor defs. I'll try it on the newest SCP build when I get the chance to see if the same happens. Weird, anyway...

Ahh, just a simple NO_NETWORK define issue. This made it so that who killed the player was never updated if you didn't build with networking support (like Inferno builds).

Fixered.
