| Description | The three ace status medals are not being displayed at all in debriefings. The medal added to your collection when you get one, but neither the medal's picture on the right side of the debriefing screen nor its associated text/voice (the stuff from medals.tbl) show up, so the only way you'll know you have received it is by looking at the medals screen itself. I ran into this while playing through the main campaign with the 8/28 build. | ||||

Promotions aren't either, unless maybe those granted as part of a mission. |

Has this been noticed in older builds too, such as something from March/April? |

I gave myself a medal as a test and it worked fine for me but that could have just been a Linux or compiler thing. Grab a debug build, make sure that data/debug_filter.cfg exists and contains at least "+BmpMan" (case doesn't matter), and try to get the medal screen again. If it doesn't work then please post the fs.log file. |

Ahh, I see the problem now. It broke with dynamic medals since certain things (like kills) are handled differently than other medals. |
