Did you disable the entire HUD or the disabled except messages thing? If the entire HUD was disabled then they shouldn't have been shown but it could have gotten through if the messages were still shown. I'm going to go ahead and fix that part but I don't see off-hand where it would still show the hotkey set if the HUD was disabled. |

It was disable-hud-except-messages And the same happens with the incoming missile icons (which in this case is a fluke, since i thougth i protected the ship)... |

Sweet. That's what I see happening in the code. The missile icons should be tied to the same thing too so that should be fixed. The fix will go in shortly and will be in my updated 20050526 build if you want to test it later tonight. If it's not fixed the way you want just reopen this bug. As of the update: What will show: - brackets indicating who is sending messages, if a ship What will not show: - autopilot nav point stuff - selections, hotkey or otherwise - brackets around asteroids - all targeting guages - homing missile indicators |
