Summary0000425: Briefing text doesn't clear
DescriptionEver since retail FS2, i've seen that occasionally breifing text (more oftenly from red-alert missions) fails to clear when you exit the briefing room before the mission, and load up a different mission WITHOUT briefing text. Ie; it shows th origonal text where there should be none.
Additional InformationNot really a bug, just a minor oddity since retail...

I blured the text only because it's an unreleased mission... And other than it filling OUTSIDE the briefing box, it appears normal...

Would you mind making a couple of test missions to illustrate this problem? I've got an idea where the problem is but it's deffinitely not something I want to commit to CVS until I've tested it first.

I would, but i've not got anything but the inferno staff release installed, and i'm without a backed up copy of the origonal FS2 right now... Just use a retail mission, and one you throw together without briefing text

This looks to be happening with non-redalert missions too. I thought that the text just wasn't getting reset but it does seem to be in general. An extra line buffer was the problem and it doesn't get reset. The better fix is just to avoid trying to process any text or voice if there aren't any briefing stages.
