| Summary | 0000376: Mission failure results in skipping to next mission if replayed, then quit. | ||||
| Description | If a mission is failed and you return to base to get reamed by command or review recommendations, then replay the mission, but quit and come back to it later, you will have advanced to the next mission. If a conditional mission, game assumes you failed completely, making subsequent mission extremely difficult, i.e. destorying the Santhanas beam turrets, then protecting the Colossuss. I have not tried to reproduce this on user campaigns, just the main one. Also, the mission is skipping in the list in the simulator. This has happened twice. Encolosed is a screenshot of the sim list. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Play a mission 2) Fail it completely 3) Return to base 4) Get reamed by command 5) Replay mission 6) Quit game during play 7) Run FSO again 8) Start mission, you should be on the next mission. 9) Once next mission is completed, examine mission list in the simulator | ||||
