Summary0000329: Cannot run FSSCP past splash screen
DescriptionOh - running FSSCP 3.6.5.

I have 'fiddled' with all possible settings, all to no avail - every time I run FSSCP I have the same result:

I start the game from the launcher, it goes to a black full screen, shows me the splash screen, then promptly switches back to windowed mode, displaying just a black window. Then the game promptly exits with a generic 'there was an error' message.

The only difference happens when using OpenGL - instead of showing the black screens, the game quickly shows the splash screen and then crashes, returning me to the desktop afterwards.

*ahem* I feel *really* stupid right now....

Went and read the "Downloading and Installing" section to see if I was missing something.... I'm kinda missing the game... *cough* I was under the impression it was like the Enemy Territory mod type thing for Return to Castle Wolfenstein (don't need RCW for ET) or the various 'company releases code so you just need to download the community projects, etc.'

I'll go and get the game off Underdogs and all associated stuff and then try again... =P
