| Summary | 0000318: FRED2 viewport becomes black if you reinstall scp on some systems. | ||||
| Description | On some systems, the fred2 scp viewport is completely black, sometimes the top-right quarter is tinged a color of what you would be looking at. This seems to be directly related to the status of opengl, as in weather or not it runs properly. Reinstalling your video drivers seems to fix it, but when scp is reinstalled, the bug occurs again. | ||||
| Additional Information | This happened to me on a Radeon 9600 Atlantis (Sapphire) with 512mb ddr ram, and an AMD Athlon 2400+. I used always because it always happens on the certain conditions. | ||||

What builds exactly? Can you give the exact system specs? I see this is a FRED bug, are we currently counting those as bugs, or just facts-of-life untill FRED is fixed? |

Dark RevenantX apparently had some driver issues according to another bug report of his. He should update his Radeon drivers to at least 4.12 |

I'm calling this fixed in a few days, unless noted otherwise. |

He can resubmit if so, no reason to keep it lingering. "Update to latest drivers" should be a default answer for issues like this. |
