| Description | There was a problem. When the game starts, the window turns black and freezes. Next there is a window "problem, the application had to close" or something like that. When you start _debug, everything works. Used modes "blue planet war in heaven" reinstall, tried to download without shell, did not help. Really want to play ... Your video card is bit on the old side, so I'd recommend making these changes. 1) Remove C:\Games\Freespace 2\blueplanet\adv-bp.vp 2) Download the compatibility package from this thread: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=83606.0 (2x VPs for the blueplanet and blueplanet2 folders) 3) Download 3.7.2RC1 from this thread: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=87500.0 (and use it instead of fs2_open_3_6_17_DEBUG_SSE2_BP.exe) Lastly, mantis is meant for code bugs rather that setup issues.
