| Summary | 0000281: Modular Table entries show only partly in FRED | ||||
| Description | Basically I have quite a few weapon entries for a small mod I'm working on in modular Table file. Primaries through the line. *All* weapons are available for selection in the Team Loadout screen (and work ingame if equipped this way). In the ship editor, however, this is not possible. When trying to change the primary weapons on any ship to the new weapons, those don't show up at all in the dropdown list. (Didn't matter if I added the compabitility in the ships.tbl) | ||||
| Additional Information | When the weapon entries were pasted into the original weapons.tbl file, they worked like a charm, even in the ship editor weapon chooser. Attached custom tbm for viewing. | ||||

I should probably add in the Version info as well :p 3.6.5. Beta build of SCP, the fred2_open_r-T365 executable. |

TBM's for primarys were quite icky IIRC. That might be the problem. I'm not sure primary weapon TBM's were even supported. |
Hm. The old-fashioned way then, scrolling through loads of lines of text ;) I can work this way, though the tbm's would make it more comfy. :) |

There's a problem with text_view_dlg::set - it doesn't take modular tables into account. I'm not sure if it's related (Fred2 is messy). Are you using a modular ships table at all? There's been some problems with primaries being added with modular tables, I briefly looked over the code and didn't see any glaring errors. |

I haven't messed with adding ships yet, I'll see if that creates any problems as soon as I've got some spare time. |
Is this fixed in later builds? |
this looks like not a bug per se. Will reopen if I am wrong. |
Should be "closed", not "resolved". |
