I have made and uploaded a simple test mod for this issue. Included are my test mission (Weapon Damage Test) from issue 0002788 and a replacement mv_effects-amr.tbm. This table adds a few lines to the LightArmor/NormalWeapon entry, including +Difficulty Scale Type. With the difficulty set lower than Insane, try the included mission with this parameter set to each of its three values (first, last, manual) and note how much damage you take. Note that you MUST be using MV_Effects for this table to have any effect! Based on my tests with this mod, +Difficulty Scale Type appears to be working fine in revision 9680. |
