| Description | I'm selecting graphics because I don't really know for certain what category this fulls under. In D3D mode, it's not easy to select either your ship or weapons loadout. I often have to drag the mouse all over the place just so I can drag whatever weapon I have onto my ship. Briefing icons also suffer a similar problem in that I have to click on a certain area of the icon just to get an image to appear. | ||||

Known issue, IIRC. Somehow, sometimes the clickzones are a few pixels offset from the actual image. Try clicking on the border of the image, and a bit over the border just to see if it is really offsetting the clickzone. Try to turn AA on or off, and experiment with those settings a bit. Are you using a non-standard resolution? (Something not 1024*768 or 640*480) |

To answer your questions yes I do have AA turned on and no I keep it on 1024x768x32 at all times. Thanks for the advice though. |

You can also try turning off vsync since that's reported to help as well. I had a partially formulated plan to redo some code that doesn't function properly (too slow, click zone alignment problems, etc.) but the idea never can solve everything. Unwanted snazzyui code changes made be needed but I'd still rather come up with a much more simple fix when I get the chance, or at least the inspiration. This is a duplicate of 0000214 by the way. I think that bug needs a subject and category change though to avoid future duplicates. |
