Summary0002633: Lastest builds have offset timing with SEXPs
DescriptionI narrowed it down to sometime after 8543. The timing seems off in regards to SEXP delays by about 1 second or so.

I included a mission with a cutscene that works on retail assets (plus the included music file).

Most of the camera view changes are off, but there was only one that was easy to mark (one of the last). I marked where the change originally took place with a loud BEEP in the music. 8543 does it correctly, however the latest trunk builds change the camera after the beep.

Max upload is 1mb, so here's a MediaFire link. http://www.mediafire.com/?dad9u5krd1dqq9j
Additional InformationIt's possible that the changes to the code are intentional, in which case I can easily fix the mission. However, if there is an underlying negative issue, hopefully this will help to find it.

You'll need this script too, sorry.

Here's a video that showcases the issue.

Correct is revision 8543.
Incorrect is revision 8625.

Also, I reverted the changes from 8544 which caused all timing issues to disappear.

Changes from 8544 have been reverted back out of trunk. Changes like these should not take place while we're still in RC mode; we need nightly builds to find these issues quicker.

Hmm. Does this mean this bug is now fixed?

And if so, that probably means a separate ticket should be opened to address the thread named in the 8544 commit:

No, the commit that caused the bug has simply been removed. The author of that patch needs to revisit it and figure out how to do the same thing but without the bug. (Assuming that patch is even necessary)
