| Description | I've experienced a problem with missions freezing on the first tick point with FSport Mediavps v3.3 They work fine when I just load using the fsport mod. The most recent problem was the mission after the one where you're escorting vasudans from jump node to jump node after destroying the first shivan destroyer. There is also a problem when hitting commit in the mission described above. This is a repeated problem and i'm inclined to believe its an issue with the mediavps version. | ||||

Although tagged with 3.6.12, does this problem occur with the latest 3.6.14 release candidate found on the forums (being RC5 currently). Can you reproduce this with a debug build and post the debug log? |

I remember experiencing this around the time we released FSPort 3.3. I have not experienced it in months though. Just tried with the mission described (Last Hope) and couldn't reproduce. Build 8911 |

Isn't this simply the delay for generating the model cache file? |

That is very likely. Er wait, no. Cache is built during mission load, not when the player presses 'Commit'. Regardless, we require more info on this fairly generic and unreproduceable bug. |
