| Summary | 0002403: set-camera-facing-object doesn't work with moving objects | ||||
| Description | When set-camera-facing-object is used to make the camera face a moving object and the turn time is specified (meaning that the camera gradually pans to face the given object), the camera ends up facing the point at which the object was when the SEXP was called, not the point at which the object actually is at the moment. Because of this, it seems that it's currently impossible to make a camera pan to face a moving target correctly. It'd be more useful and make more sense if the camera turned to actually face the object instead of the location where the object used to be. | ||||

This is most likely by design. If you want to make the camera continue to face the object, then make the sexp repeat using a trigger count or similar mechanism. |
