| Description | System crashes in this mission and the mission after (High Noon). After a few restarts though, I managed to finish these missions, but I had to direct my view to areas where it is focused on specific portions of a ship (an not the juggernaut or the entire battle scene as a whole). Not sure if it was the shear weight of the graphics. There were times while I was playing FSport and lowered the res, filtering and AA; crashes still occured in certain missions. Just to be clear I worked around it by preventing myself from viewing multiple capital ships at once. Currently leading the 70 blue lions in evacuating capella. | ||||
| Additional Information | I'm using an intel i3 laptop with 4gb ram and an ati5470 on win7 btw. This was on fs2_open_3_6_12_INF using the 55g launcher. | ||||

Does a debug build give any info? |

which debug build should I use again? |

fs2_open_3_6_12d_INF.exe or something to that effect. It should end in d (for debug). |

Understood sir. Will try out the debug build when i restart the campaigns for both the great war and freespace 2; will update this post when i can. thanks! |

faizsuberi, did you have any luck with the debug build? You might also try a nightly build to see if this isn't already fixed for you. |
