| Description | FRED starts bitching about invalid player orders if you change ship type to another type that has different player orders in objecttypes. For example, a fighter to transport. The only solution to fix this is to swap ship type back to what it was originally, unselect invalid player orders and then swap the ship type back to new one. Or alternatively fix the orders in notepad. The first option can be extremely frustrating because it also resets everything to class defaults, so you lose all edits you made to the ship. Which means only sane solution is editing the mission in notepad. FRED should be able to fix something like this automatically. | ||||

Actually you can fix this just by opening the orders menu on the new ship and closing it. |

Looks like this was fixed along the way as I could not reproduce on 9357. |

Still exists as of r9368. Bug does not appear until mission save. Even the error checker passes. Just drop a second fighter in FRED, change that ship to a GRFr Triton, then save. Log: http://fubar5.fubar.org/mantis/2341.log |
