| Description | We're still having "transient network issues". Games and servers in europe often cannot be seen when launching FS2. However they always show up on FS2Net. I setup a server this weekend and noticed a few oddities. The ping varied widely when browsing FS2Net. 250ms to 452672ms.. Also, the euro servers never even showed a ping at all. I think the game tracker server itself is fine but the connection it's on is absolutely horrid. Considering my close proximity to the server, the pings should be far less and a lot more stable. I hope this helps and points you in the right direction. | ||||

I've noticed as the night progresses, the ping has settled down dramatically. It's around 78ms now. |

ping times between game server and game client can vary widely what the tracker sees them at - if both clients are in london, but the tracker is in boston, the tracker is going to see a lot larger ping to them then what they see to each other this seems to be the situation you are describing - am i wrong? |
