| Description | I downloaded the Free Space 2 game onto my hard drive but it will not run. It initially said that it could not find the "openal32.dll" file. I went on line and found the file and downloaded it. Now it will not run and said that "The procedure entry point alcgent integrv could not be loacted in the dynamic link library openal32.dll. The "fs2-open-3-6-12d-inf.exe" could not be found. I appreciate your help thanks! | ||||

This is not a FS2_Open issue but a tech support one. Pleas read the FAQ here http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?board=151.0 If you still have issues post there. Also you don't just download openal32.dll you must download the installer for in and actually install it. It's in the install instructions. |
