I think you posting two bugs means it happens both in D3D and OGL, so just answer these questions:

What OS (operating System)?
What build (version) of the program?
What version of the launcher?
What commandlines?
What version of the media VP?
What resolution?
Are there any avi files in your FS2 dir?
What graphical card?
What version drivers for that card?
How much RAM do you have?
What processor?

When you've answered all of the questions above, we'll be able to help you a lot easier.

This sounds like the movie player crash but that only happens in D3D. Try with the -dnoshowvid (Disable Video Playback) option and if it doesn't crash then we'll know the reason.

*BUMP*

I'm going to assume that this is fixed unless you say otherwise D3Iceman. Let us know.

Closing due to no response from reporter.

This was most likely a build issue and since no one else has reported a similar issue I think the problem is either fixed or void.
