This may not be a bug. If you fly into their line-of-sight, the AI can sometimes "target" you. Sometimes the AI also seems to acquire lock instantly, without waiting for lock like the player has to. Your problem may be caused by a combination of these.

No, I think somebody posted on HLP proving that there was a difference in behavior between retail and SCP. Unfortunately they haven't posted here.

there is some cloaking stuff still left in object_is_targetable(). just get rid of shipfx_calc_visibility()
