Going by your log, your FS2 install is, as we say fucked. Do the following: Delete these files: Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\a_subspace.vp' with a checksum of 0x02b13584 Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mp-710_adveffects.vp' with a checksum of 0x55caf318 Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mp-710_effects.vp' with a checksum of 0xe22bdcc2 Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mp-710_models.vp' with a checksum of 0x20b9069a Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mv_adveffects.vp' with a checksum of 0xfeb54970 Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mv_core.vp' with a checksum of 0xb6cb1f6a Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mv_effects.vp' with a checksum of 0x1986a43c Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mv_models.vp' with a checksum of 0x2f8a711a Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mv_music.vp' with a checksum of 0xcca92482 Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\mv_textures.vp' with a checksum of 0x2c43a80e Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\MediaVPs\a_subspace.vp' with a checksum of 0x02b13584 Found root pack 'E:\FreeSpace2\data\cbanim.vp' with a checksum of 0xfcae9a0f Then make sure the post-processing files in the RC3 release thread are where they are supposed to be. In the future, please either read release posts carefully and follow the install instructions, or use Turey's installer. Also, if you encounter further problems, please post them at the FSO support board found here: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?board=151.0 This is for code bugs only, until we have determined this is one, it looks more like a regular support issue, which we can deal with more comfortably on the support board. |
