Summary0002082: Ballistic primaries with energy consumption not scaled to time compression
DescriptionBasic ballistic primary with an "overheat" set by energy consumption. During a test mission I set time compression to 8x to recharge faster. To my surprise I could fire continuously at that compression while not draining a drop of energy. I tried again starting at 1x. Energy drained. 2x it drained but not as fast. 4x it actually charged slowly while firing.

This issue is related to very high rate of fire of the weapon. If time compression is used the rate of fire drops 'only' to the fps rate. Not sure if this is a bug and/or how it should be handled if it is.

Well it doesn't actually affect game play for Diaspora. If you try fighting with time compression on you aren't going to hit anything if you are moving. Not sure about other mods.
