| Description | If I activate Antialiasing and try to play a custom mission, the loading of the misson list takes longer then without AA. NOT the actual loading, but the check of the data/missions folder. The higher AA is set, the longer it takes. | ||||
| Additional Information | My first thought was it might be related to the font. Happend in all build, with different VGA drivers. It's pretty annoying. | ||||

I don't know that there is a good fix for this in-game. It's going to AA each and every letter that gets displayed so that's probably why it's taking so long. What video card and CPU do you have? If they aren't up to the task of rendering about 1200 bitmaps AntiAliased in the span of 3 seconds then there isn't much we can do. I'm tempted to close this as NotABug but I'll leave it open until next week for additional comments from anyone. |

Doesn't appear to be anything we can do about this so I'm closing it. AA looks good but it comes at a cost and that cost is just going to be more apparent when building the mission list. I'll keep this in the back of my mind on the chance that the slowdown can be lessened in the future. |
