| Summary | 0002073: Subobjects with thruster anywhere in the name do not render in game | ||||
| Description | They show up fine in PCS2 and there are no warnings or errors in the logs. They just aren't visible in game. They do appear to have collision detection though. | ||||
| Additional Information | 3.6.11 not sure what revision. This appears to have been around for awhile (at least 3.6.10) as the model I was reconverting had the 2 subsystems with thruster in the name renamed to WTF and WTFF in the old .pof. | ||||

Looking at the SVN it seems to be retail feature. That is using string "thruster" in submodel name is the same as marking it as a thruster flame. IMO only real solution is to avoid using that as subsystem name. You still have the alternate name from the subsystem properties as well as the alternate subsystem name from the ships.tbl available. Not-a-bug. |

Game has identified thrusters from the name of the submodel since retail. |
