I was working on FF support for Linux but never got it working 100%. I do think that I encountered this problem as well and I probably added an extra check to make sure it's off or fixed the effect setup itself. I'll set my FF joystick back up on a Windows machine and look into this. The Linux code is all low level stuff so is completely different but I should be able to work a fix into the DirectX version. |

I added a new stop function for the dock/reload effect. It will now force stop the playing effect when the support ship undocks. I still haven't gotten my Joystick unplugged from my Linux box so this isn't tested and not in CVS. If you e-mail me I'll send you the build to test with if you want. Otherwise I'll try and get it tested early this week and added to CVS. |
