| Summary | 0001895: Primary weapons viewabe in rear view even if fire points are in front of eye points. Side view as well | ||||
| Description | Basically if you fire weapons while looking at the rear view you see the weapons. It's even more obvious with ballistic primaries when you are moving at high speed. Laser weapons exhibit the problem even sitting still but the ballistic ones only seem to be visible when moving. Side view always shows unless the weapon is center mounted. | ||||
| Additional Information | Recent 3.6.10 build. Tried to get a screenshot from FS2 but I could not capture the effect. I used a Loki with one bank with the second primary set to maxim to reproduce. Didn't seem to matter as both banks showed in the rear view. | ||||

I tried to reproduce under testing the missile issue. In some cases, the muzzleflash seemed visible, but the actual weapons fire was not. fov 0.55 if that helps any. |

|
Was able to reproduce on build 9357. Only saw the muzzle flash though. |

This is not a bug. This is how 3D games are rendered. The Rear view camera is the same as front view cam but turned around 180°. If the laser is large enough to stick through the cameraplane it will show up. |
