Can you give any more details. I tested playing King's Gambit with retail data no command line options and got ships (Orion, Deimos and Aeolus) appear just as they should using build fresh from SVN.

How recent is recent? Also, your description appears to contradict the summary - are you talking about warp in or out?

Sorry, I meant disappear. It is most easily seen with smaller ships and fighters, and i have had it happen with several campaigns, and with both retail and addon ships.

Again testing Kings Gambit and this time ordering the wingmates to depart. I couldn't see any problems with the ships departing. They disappeared exactly when passing through the subspace effect.

What build are you using (any or all of: date, SVN version, name, link)?
Does the bug appear in some specific situation?
Is it associated with certain ships?

I am using http://www.freespacefaq.com/Misc-Downloads/Builds/Is-Player-Build.7z

Try using an Elysium, make it invincible, and fire on it as it warps out. Keep firing into the warp. Also try with fighters.

Does the problem exists with recent builds, such as the one Chief released?

I thought the is-player-build was a TBP build.

I'll test. I know that the flaw appeared in both Renegade Resurgence and S:AH.

Uploaded is a picture of a Boanerges that had just jumped. As you can see, the ship itself is invisible, but the damage trails are visible. This has happened with every fighter. Also, if a large ship jumps out aiming at another ship at close proximity, it will hit the other ship after entering the warp. I had this happen once in Blue Planet with a Lucifer and GTL Anemoi, and once in FSP with an Aten and Typhon. The ships collided after one warped, aiming at the other.

Cole, I think you uploaded the wrong image. Definitely not what you described. Also, could you maybe compress it a bit more this time? Maybe a jpg, less than 200 or 300k? Or a png even?

Yup. Wrong image, and wrong file. Here is a different image, but the same idea.

I don't know what i am doing differently but i can't seem to be able to replicate this one. Does any one else?

Hey, this is a duplicate (with a bad description) from 0001676

No, because this hilights the fact that you can damage and hit the ships after warp.

That doesn't change the fact that both point out there are remnants of the ship not disappearing after passing through the warp effect, be it the effects trails themselves or the collision box. They're very likely related, even though you've both pointed out different things about the bug, its still the same bug.

I have uploaded a mission to demonstrate.

Press 1 to make the elysium depart.
Fire beyond the warp point of the elysium and watch it die.
