Description | Not entirely sure if this could be considered a bug or not, but it seems wrong for the time limit to affect anything but TvT and Dogfight. It is extremely annoying if you've played a dogfight and forgotten to remove the time limit, only to be force-jumped out in the middle of a coop mission. | ||||

Hmmmmm. While I agree with you on one hand I like of someone making a gauntlet style mission where you're rated on kills before time runs out. Adding a SEXP to provide the server with the time or kills limit wouldn't be particularly hard most likely (I vaguely remember where those settings live). Bring this one up on the forums since it really could use a little discussion on the best way to solve it first. |

Maybe a warning popup dialog, as a temporary resolution? Don't know if it'd be too much work to bother though. |

Or perhaps a flag in the mission specs determining whether or not the mission is affected by the time limit? Stuff like that really ought to be the mission designer's choice anyway. |

How was it fixed? I would have figured that maybe just resetting the time limit to the max available (no limit if the mission allows it) when you select a Coop would have been enough. |

Haven't seen the fix for this myself yet. I'm curious as to how it's fixed too since something similar for kill limit in coop might be useful. |

Looking at the code, the fix appears to be a popup to let you know that it's a coop game with a time limit and it gives you the option to cancel. |

It'll pop up a popup and give you three choices - Cancel, to go back to the mission select screen. - Yes, to continue on with the time limit. - No, to continue on but sets the time limit to zero. |
